Sazly Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Almoutasem Nabil. They cover the Sazly app for iPhone and iPad, the Sazly App Clip, the guest page at sazly.online and Sazly Pro. Please read them, especially Sazly Pro (which explains automatic renewal), Safety in the car and Limitation of liability. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Who we are and accepting these terms

Sazly lets people in a car share one music queue. It is provided by Almoutasem Nabil (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Jordan.

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) apply to the Sazly app for iPhone and iPad, the Sazly App Clip, the guest page at sazly.online and Sazly Pro (together, “Sazly”). By downloading, opening or using any part of Sazly, including joining a ride as a guest, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Sazly.

These Terms are Sazly’s end-user licence agreement (EULA). They apply instead of Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sazly. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Sazly only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. Purchases are also subject to the App Store’s own age and account rules.

The service

Hosting a ride

A host signs in to the Sazly app, connects Apple Music and starts a shared ride. Music plays only on the host’s own device, from the host’s own Apple Music subscription. When a ride starts, Sazly shares the host’s music library list (song titles, artists, albums and artwork), what is playing and what is up next with everyone who joins that ride.

Joining a ride

Guests (also called riders) join with the ride’s room code, QR code or link, in any of three ways:

  • in the Sazly app, signed in to a Sazly account;
  • in the Sazly App Clip, with just a first name and no account; or
  • on the guest page at sazly.online in a web browser, with just a name and no account.

Depending on the host’s settings, guests can browse the host’s library, search the Apple Music catalogue through the host’s phone, request songs, vote, send reactions and control playback.

Friends

Signed-in users can add friends by username or by scanning a friend’s profile QR code.

Sazly currently works with Apple Music only.

Safety in the car

Sazly is designed for passengers. The driver must never use Sazly while driving. Hosts and riders are responsible for making sure that using Sazly doesn’t distract the driver, and for following road-safety laws wherever they are. Set the music up before you drive, or let a passenger handle it.

Your account

  • Signing in. You sign in to the Sazly app with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. Those services are provided by Apple and Google under their own terms, and sign-in is managed for us by Google Firebase.
  • Your name and username. You choose a display name and a unique username. They are shown to your friends and to people in rides with you. Don’t choose a name that impersonates someone, is offensive, or infringes someone else’s rights. We may change or remove a name or username that breaks these Terms.
  • Keeping it secure. Keep your device and your Apple or Google account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your Sazly account.
  • Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account. Our Privacy Policy explains what is removed and what remains. Deleting your Sazly account or the app does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in your Apple Account settings first (see Automatic renewal).
  • Guests without an account. App Clip and web guests use an anonymous sign-in tied to that App Clip or browser. There is no password or account to manage.

Apple Music and music services

  • You need your own subscription. To host, you need your own active Apple Music subscription on the device you host from. Sazly doesn’t sell, include, pay for or provide music or any music subscription, and Sazly Pro does not include Apple Music.
  • Not affiliated with Apple. Sazly is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple and Apple Music are trademarks of Apple Inc.
  • Provider terms apply. Music, artwork, the Apple Music catalogue and your library are provided by Apple and its licensors and are subject to Apple’s terms. You are responsible for using Apple Music in line with those terms. For example, don’t use Sazly to play music publicly or commercially where your subscription doesn’t allow it.
  • Playback stays on the host’s device. Audio plays only on the host’s device. Guests never receive audio. Sazly shares song information such as titles, artists, albums and artwork links so that riders can choose songs.
  • Availability. Which songs are available depends on Apple Music and on the host’s country or region. We aren’t responsible for music that is unavailable, removed or changed by the provider.
  • Your library. Actions such as “Save ride as playlist” create playlists in your own Apple Music library.

If Sazly supports other music services in the future, their terms will apply as well.

Sazly Pro

Sazly Pro is an optional paid upgrade for hosts. It can only be bought in the Sazly app while you are signed in. The App Clip and the guest page don’t sell anything.

What is always free

For hosts, playing music from Apple Music is never paid. That includes full songs and every playback control, playing from your library or a playlist, connecting Apple Music, browsing and searching your library, and saving a ride as a playlist. Guests are never paid either: any number of guests can join a ride, add songs, vote and send reactions, and every host moderation tool is free.

What Sazly Pro unlocks

  • Unlimited shared rides every month.
  • Full ride history. Every saved ride is visible, not only the most recent ones.
  • All car colours for your rides.
  • A custom join code: a 6-character code and QR code of your choice that stay the same for every ride.

Sazly Pro pays for Sazly’s own ride-sharing features. It never pays for, unlocks or includes access to Apple Music.

The free tier

  • 2 shared rides per calendar month. Months are counted in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), and the allowance resets at 00:00 UTC on the 1st.
  • A ride counts once a guest joins it. A ride nobody joins doesn’t count, and signing in to your own account on another device doesn’t count as a guest.
  • When you’ve used your free rides, you can still browse, search and play your Apple Music library and your playlists on the Host screen. You just can’t open a new shared ride to guests until the next month begins, unless you have Sazly Pro.
  • Rides started while you have Pro count too. If Pro ends partway through a month, the rides you have already started that month still count, so you may have no free rides left until the next month begins.
  • Ride history shows your 3 most recent rides, hosted or joined. Older rides are kept and appear again if you get Pro.
  • Car colour is Sazly pink, and each ride gets a new, generated join code.

Products

  • Sazly Pro Monthly: an auto-renewable subscription, billed every month.
  • Sazly Pro Annual: an auto-renewable subscription, billed every year.
  • Sazly Pro Lifetime: a one-time purchase that doesn’t renew.
  • Day Pass: 24 hours of Sazly Pro for a one-time payment. It doesn’t renew.

Monthly and Annual belong to the same subscription group, “Sazly Pro”, so you can only have one of them at a time. There is currently no free trial or introductory offer. If one is offered in future, any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.

Prices and payment

  • The price is shown in the App Store and in the app before you confirm a purchase, in your local currency. Prices can differ between countries, and taxes are handled by Apple as it determines.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Apple processes all payments. We never receive your card or bank details.
  • We may change prices for future purchases. Price changes to an existing subscription follow Apple’s rules, including any notice or consent Apple requires.
  • If a purchase is pending, for example waiting for Ask to Buy approval, Pro unlocks once Apple completes it.

Automatic renewal (Monthly and Annual)

  • Your subscription renews automatically for another month or year unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. It renews at the price shown in the App Store for your plan, which is the price you last paid unless Apple notifies you of a price change.
  • Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or tap Manage subscription in Sazly. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • Deleting the app or your Sazly account does not cancel a subscription.

Day Pass

A Day Pass gives you Sazly Pro for 24 hours from the moment you buy it, not from your first ride. It doesn’t renew and you won’t be charged again. Passes don’t add up: if you hold two, the later one runs for 24 hours from its own purchase time. While any Pro is active, the app doesn’t offer another plan, so you can buy a new pass or plan in the app once the current pass ends.

Lifetime

Sazly Pro Lifetime is a single payment with nothing to renew. It gives the Sazly Pro features to the Sazly account the purchase is linked to for as long as Sazly is available, unless Apple refunds or revokes the purchase. If we ever stop selling Sazly Pro while Sazly keeps running, Lifetime holders keep unlimited shared rides, full ride history, all car colours and their custom join code, or those features become free for everyone.

While Monthly, Annual or a Day Pass is active, the app doesn’t offer Lifetime. To switch from Monthly or Annual to Lifetime, cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings; you can buy Lifetime in Sazly once it ends.

Your Sazly account, other devices and Restore Purchases

  • Sazly Pro is linked to the Sazly account that is signed in when you buy or restore it. Sign in to the same Sazly account on another device to use Pro there.
  • Restore Purchases is on the paywall and under Settings → Restore purchases. It asks the App Store for the purchases on your Apple Account and applies them to the Sazly account that is signed in.
  • A purchase that is already linked to another existing Sazly account can’t be moved to a different Sazly account, except to the Sazly account that was signed in when it was bought. Pro benefits that are checked on our servers, such as unlimited rides, are intended to apply only to the account the purchase is linked to. Features the app unlocks on the device itself, such as full ride history, car colours and choosing a custom join code, can also follow the purchases of the Apple Account in use on that device.

Family Sharing

Sazly Pro purchases are not shared through Family Sharing. Each person needs their own purchase, linked to their own Sazly account.

Cancellation and refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds ourselves. If Apple refunds or revokes a purchase, the Pro access linked to it ends. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer law.

When Pro ends

  • Your car colour returns to Sazly pink. Your choice is remembered for when Pro comes back.
  • Ride history shows your 3 most recent rides again. Older rides are hidden, not deleted.
  • New rides use a generated join code. Your custom code stays reserved to your account until you release it.
  • A live ride that someone has already joined keeps working. A live ride nobody has joined yet, and any new ride, follows the free-tier limits, so if you have no free rides left this month, guests can’t join it.

Custom join codes

A custom code has 6 characters, taken from letters and digits that are hard to confuse (there is no O, I, 0 or 1). The first account to claim a code keeps it until it releases the code in the app (“Give the code back”). Because the code doesn’t change, anyone who has it can see when you are hosting and can join, unless you lock the ride or ban them. We may release or reassign a code that is offensive or misleading, impersonates someone, or infringes someone else’s rights.

Changes to Sazly Pro

We may add, change or remove Sazly Pro features, except that Lifetime holders keep the features described in Lifetime. If a change significantly reduces what you’ve paid for, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can, and your rights under consumer law and Apple’s refund policies are not affected.

Rides and acceptable use

A ride is shared with everyone in it. Your name, the songs you request, your votes and your reactions, including Genmoji, stickers and any image you paste, are shown to the host and every other rider. Only send things you have the right to share and that the people in the car would be comfortable seeing.

When you use Sazly, you must not:

  • harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone;
  • send content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory or illegal, or that shares someone’s private information or intimate images without their consent;
  • impersonate another person, or use a misleading or offensive name, username or join code;
  • spam a ride, or join rides you weren’t invited to in order to disrupt them;
  • try to access other users’ information beyond what Sazly shows you, or scrape, probe, overload or interfere with Sazly or its security;
  • get around free-tier limits, purchase checks, bans or other restrictions, or use automated tools to access Sazly;
  • copy, modify or reverse-engineer Sazly, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
  • use Sazly to infringe copyright or to break Apple Music’s terms; or
  • use Sazly while driving.

Hosts are in charge of their ride

Hosts can approve or veto requests, lock joining, freeze the queue, limit how many songs each rider can have waiting, stop a rider adding songs, voting, reacting or controlling playback while they stay in the ride, kick and ban a rider from the ride, and end the ride for everyone. Bans apply to that ride.

Reporting and enforcement

Sazly has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can leave the ride, and a host can remove them. To report abuse, email support@pipekit.tech with the room code, the date and the name involved, and we will review your report promptly. We may remove content, reset names or usernames, release custom codes, limit features, or suspend or end an account or guest access if we reasonably believe it breaks these Terms or the law, or if that’s needed to protect other people.

Guests

  • Guests never pay. When the first guest joins a ride, that ride counts toward the host’s free-tier allowance (see The free tier). It never counts against the guest.
  • When you join a ride, the host and everyone else in it can see your name and what you do there: songs you request, votes, reactions and playback commands. The host may get notifications with your name and the songs you add.
  • When the ride ends, a summary is saved to the ride history of the host and of every rider still in the ride at that moment. Riders who left or were removed earlier don’t get a copy. If you had the most songs played or queued in the ride (the host included), your name may appear in it as the ride’s top requester.
  • The host controls the ride. They can remove you from it, and when they end the ride it ends for everyone.
  • If you clear your browser data or iOS removes the App Clip, you may have to enter your name again.
  • These Terms apply to guests, including App Clip and web guests.

Your content

Your content” means what you add to Sazly: your display name, username, profile photo, ride names, song requests, searches, votes, and reactions, including images.

  • You keep ownership of your content.
  • You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit and display your content only as needed to operate and provide Sazly to you and the people you ride with. For example, we show your reaction to everyone in the ride and save ride summaries to ride histories. The licence also lets us keep Sazly secure and comply with the law. It doesn’t let us sell your content or use it for advertising.
  • The licence ends when your content is deleted from Sazly, except for copies that remain as described in our Privacy Policy, such as ride summaries in other riders’ histories.
  • You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the right to share it.
  • Songs, song information and artwork belong to Apple and its licensors and are not your content or ours.

Our rights

Sazly, including its name, logo, design and software, belongs to us or our licensors. As long as you follow these Terms, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Sazly for its intended purpose. If you downloaded Sazly from the App Store, see also App Store terms. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Availability and changes

  • Sazly depends on services we don’t control, including Apple Music, the App Store, Google Firebase and your internet or mobile connection. It may sometimes be unavailable, slow or interrupted. For example, requests, votes and reactions may not reach every rider straight away.
  • We may update, change, suspend or discontinue features, or Sazly as a whole. If we plan to discontinue Sazly Pro or Sazly, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
  • Some features may require the latest version of the app or of iOS.

Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Sazly is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep Sazly reliable, but we don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any particular song will be available, or that Sazly will meet every need you have.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty, guarantee or right that can’t be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including consumer guarantees.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can’t be limited under applicable law.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:

  • we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of Sazly;
  • we aren’t responsible for the content or behaviour of other users, for third-party services such as Apple Music, the App Store or Google, or for losses caused by using Sazly in a way that distracts a driver; and
  • our total liability for all claims relating to Sazly is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for Sazly Pro in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim, and (b) 50 US dollars or the equivalent in your local currency.

Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using Sazly at any time. Signed-in users can delete their account in the app, and guests can leave a ride whenever they like.
  • We may suspend or end your access to Sazly if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if it’s needed to protect other users or Sazly. Where it’s reasonable, we will tell you why.
  • If your access ends because you broke these Terms, you aren’t entitled to a refund except where the law or Apple’s policies provide one.
  • Sections that by their nature should continue after these Terms end will continue, including Your content, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability and Governing law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. If a change is significant, we will give reasonable notice in the app or on this site before it takes effect. If you keep using Sazly after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t agree, stop using Sazly and cancel any subscription in your Apple Account settings.

App Store terms

If you downloaded Sazly or the Sazly App Clip from Apple’s App Store, this section also applies. Where it conflicts with the rest of these Terms, this section wins for that use.

  1. (a) Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and Almoutasem Nabil only, not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Sazly and its content. These Terms can’t set usage rules for Sazly that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions in effect when you accept these Terms.
  2. (b) Scope of licence. Your licence to use Sazly is limited and non-transferable. You may use Sazly on any Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Other accounts associated with the purchaser may also access and use Sazly through Family Sharing or volume purchasing. Sazly Pro purchases are not shared through Family Sharing (see Family Sharing).
  3. (c) Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for Sazly, as described in these Terms or as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Sazly.
  4. (d) Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. If Sazly fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, that you paid for the app. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Sazly. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility, subject to these Terms.
  5. (e) Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims by you or any third party relating to Sazly or your possession or use of it. These include (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that Sazly fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws. These Terms don’t limit our liability to you beyond what applicable law permits.
  6. (f) Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that Sazly, or your possession or use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
  7. (g) Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that the U.S. Government has designated as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  8. (h) Developer name and contact. Sazly is provided by Almoutasem Nabil, Jordan. Please send questions, complaints or claims about Sazly to support@pipekit.tech.
  9. (i) Third-party terms. When you use Sazly, you must comply with any third-party agreements that apply, such as Apple Music’s terms and your mobile data plan.
  10. (j) Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Jordan have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or Sazly. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in your local courts. If you have a problem, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.

General

  • These Terms, our Privacy Policy and, where they apply, Apple’s terms make up the whole agreement between you and us about Sazly.
  • If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we don’t give it up.
  • We may transfer these Terms to a business that takes over Sazly. You may not transfer your rights under them.
  • If these Terms are translated, the English version applies if the versions differ.
